Two Fatal Car Accidents over the Weekend.

As the wintry mix continues to create hazardous road conditions in the Philadelphia region, two major car accidents led to two fatalities this weekend.

Road conditions have been improving and then reverting back to hazardous as the winter/spring weather keeps changing. As temperatures rise and road conditions improve, people tend to drive differently than they do when inclemate weather is an issue. However, as the weather continues to change its mind between winter and spring, drivers have to remember to adapt to changing road conditions.

Simply because it is officially spring now doesn't mean Mother Nature knows it. Be on the lookout for changing conditions before you leave and while you are on the road. Last week, we even had a freak hail and lightning storm, so it pays to be prepared.

When you're on the road, be sure to adjust speed, the quickness with which you accelerate and stop, and the quickness with which you turn. Be on the lookout for changing road conditions and other motorists who are not driving safely for the conditions.
